With the prayers and support of people like you, Campus Crusade for Christ is right now coordinating with trusted partners and church leaders within China to help bring God's love and compassion to the men, women, and children left homeless and helpless by the May 12 earthquake.
One of the cities immediately adjacent to the hardest hit area is home to quite a few of our most trusted ministry partners, as well as church leaders and other believers. They know the geography and culture and have connections in this region and are uniquely equipped to help ease suffering in the name of Christ.
Critical aid—including food, water, clothing, tents, and medicine—has already been distributed to thousands of people. But with millions left homeless, much more needs to be done.
If prices remain stable, it appears that it will take about $140 per week, including delivery, to provide critical assistance (ranging from food and water to shelter and medical care) to a Chinese family affected by the earthquake.
